Ezra Weston Loomis Pound (30 October 1885 – 1 November 1972)became known for his role in developing Imagism, which, in reaction to the Victorian and Georgian poets, favored tight language, unadorned imagery, and a strong correspondence between the verbal and musical qualities of the verse and the mood it expressed.After teaching Romance Languages at Wabash College in Indiana for two years, he resigned and travelled to Spain, Italy and England. He became interested in the poetry of the Chinese and Japanese.He founded the Imagist movement in poetry, which encouraged experimenting with different verse forms, and opposed representational art in favor of abstract forms.

#18 our school.... is not that great

If i could change two things about our campus it would be the staff. I really dont have nothing against anyone but its just little things that i think should change in order to make this the best school i know it can be. Im tired of castle park being known as the "ghetto school" and any little thing that goes on here automatically ends up on the media. Are we targeted? We look stupid and like all we are is uncontrollable and worthless. So far this month i have found out through the news that 3 teachers were fired for porn, meth , and harassment. What kind of school are we too allow ourselves to look this bad?And our own ex principle along with our old a.s.b. adviser stole, lied, and cheated us. We should have better sense of who is around us and as a student i have to question my safety in my own school.
